About The Position

CC Holdings is hiring full-time and part-time Cashier/CSR team members for Java House Bistro at the Indianapolis International Airport. The role serves customers in a fast-paced café environment and supports food preparation, station operations, cash handling, sanitation, and teamwork. The position follows CC Holdings’ HEART Culture: Heartfelt, Efficient, Accountable, Respectful, and Team-Oriented. The café operates Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Nights and weekends are required. The anticipated start date is between October and December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines. A valid driver’s license is required to obtain an airport parking pass. Essential functions may include standing and walking for extended periods; moving throughout the restaurant and work areas; preparing and handling food; operating restaurant equipment; interacting with customers and team members; maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards; and other duties necessary to restaurant operations. The role may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items consistent with the position. Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

Valid driver’s license to obtain an airport parking pass.
Knowledge of food-service procedures, sanitation practices, and safe food-handling standards.
Effective communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Arrive in proper uniform and adhere to grooming standards.
Set up the station according to café guidelines.
Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner, following portion control and presentation specifications.
Restock items as needed throughout shifts.
Clean and maintain stations while following safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures.
Use and maintain station equipment properly.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Ensure food quality and safety through proper sanitation, food handling, covering, and storage.
Follow cash-handling procedures, record orders, handle payments, give change, and balance drawers accurately.
Thank customers and encourage repeat business.
Serve as a role model for customers and staff and assist with on-the-job training for new baristas and cashiers.
Collaborate with team members to support operations and company standards.
Promote products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling.
Assist with additional duties as needed.
