About The Position
CC Holdings is hiring Cashier/CSR team members for Java House Bistro at the Indianapolis International Airport. The role supports guests and coworkers through the company’s HEART Culture: Heartfelt, Efficient, Accountable, Respectful, and Team-Oriented. It is a fast-paced food-service position involving station setup, food preparation, customer service, cash handling, sanitation, and teamwork. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. The bistro operates Monday through Sunday, between 5:00 AM and 11:00 PM, with varying shifts. Nights and weekends are required. The anticipated start date is between October and December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines. A valid driver’s license is required to obtain an airport parking pass.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to obtain an airport parking pass.
- Knowledge of food-service procedures, sanitation practices, and safe food-handling standards.
- Effective communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills, including the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities
- Arrive in proper uniform and follow grooming standards.
- Set up the station according to café guidelines.
- Prepare food items in a sanitary and timely manner, following portion-control and presentation specifications.
- Restock items as needed during shifts.
- Clean and maintain stations while following safety, sanitation, and organizational procedures.
- Use and maintain station equipment properly.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Ensure food quality and safety through proper sanitation, food handling, covering, and storage.
- Follow cash-handling procedures; record orders, process payments, give change, and balance drawers accurately.
- Thank customers and encourage repeat business.
- Serve as a role model and assist with on-the-job training for new baristas and cashiers.
- Collaborate with team members to support operations and company standards.
- Promote products, services, and special promotions through suggestive selling.
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
