About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch is hiring a part-time Bartender for Barrel House Bistro in Bradenton, Florida. The Bartender stocks the bar, prepares and serves alcoholic beverages, supports inventory and cost control, and provides service to guests and catered events. The role requires compliance with state liquor laws and management procedures, careful handling of cash and point-of-sale transactions, and safe work practices. The position may also involve occasionally serving meals to guests and performing other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of bartending experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar and mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Monitor food and beverage products and notify management promptly when supplies are needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and management’s standard operating procedures.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Be accountable for checks and cash transactions and use the Point of Sales System.
• Review banquet schedules, calendars of events, and special events for changes.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
