About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Food Runner at Barrel House Bistro. The role supports dining-room service by preparing service materials and tables, organizing and delivering food according to guest tickets, assisting servers, and maintaining clean, stocked workstations and dining areas. The position requires professionalism, cleanliness, neatness, and regular, reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays. The role is part of Troon, a global club management company specializing in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operations.
• Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Prepare the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
• Organize plates in the window and match each plate with its ticket before running food to tables.
• Set tables according to Troon Golf standards.
• Ensure menu items are prepared exactly as specified on each ticket; consult the chef before delivery if an item does not meet the ticket specifications.
• Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
• Clear dishes in front of guests when they have completed a course.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, positioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Assist servers as needed.
• Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
• Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
