About The Position

Azario Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, Florida, is hiring a part-time Server for Barrel House Bistro. The role provides prompt, attentive food and beverage service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the position.
• Valid driver's license required when operating the picker for range balls or a golf cart.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describe daily specials, answer menu questions, and suggest menu items when appropriate.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver prepared items promptly.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintain an organized workstation and complete side work duties.
• Set up and break down golf stations each shift.
• Handle checks and cash transactions.
• Use the point-of-sale system and follow established procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follow service standards for greetings, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques.
• Use tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Cross-train in bartending service.
• Incorporate safe work practices and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.
