About The Position

Johnson/Clarke, Inc. is seeking a passionate, hard-working Salon Manager to represent its nationwide brand in a vibrant, professional, team-oriented work environment. The role offers professional development, training, and growth and career opportunities. Compensation is $18.00–$25.00 per hour, plus commission and potential bonuses. The manager leads the salon team, supports customer consultations, helps meet sales goals, and ensures the salon is clean, organized, and operated in accordance with company and legal requirements. The position includes cash handling, opening and closing the business, administrative paperwork, and goal tracking. The schedule requires flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership or management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods, up to 7 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals measured daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Hire and train the team of Beauty Consultants.
• Provide ongoing team training.
• Consult with customers regarding skin care, tanning, and beauty products.
• Ensure company and legal policies, procedures, and requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon.
• Handle cash and open and close the business.
• Complete daily administrative paperwork and track goals.
