The role involves leading the team, managing salon operations, and delivering haircuts, depending on salon needs. The balance between administrative time and floor time varies by location and reflects the specific needs of the salon. Salon Managers receive leadership and technical training, along with ongoing support to help them confidently lead their teams. The LEADS development program for salon managers provides training in the skills needed to guide salon teams in brand delivery and achieve GREAT results.

Requirements

• Valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
• A goal-oriented mindset
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills

• Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.
