About The Position

The Salon Manager leads salon operations, provides leadership and tools for the team’s success, and focuses on salon profitability and business growth. The manager leads by example, helps stylists build their clientele, and teaches them business practices. The role also performs the hair care services offered by Supercuts and ensures each guest receives high-quality service. The manager coaches and mentors salon employees, fosters a positive work environment, and hires, recruits, trains, and professionally handles conflicts and client complaints.

Requirements

Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state or provincial regulations.
Ability to work 35–40 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to work occasional overtime and travel overnight when required.
Ability to work alone in the salon if required.
Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented approach.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good judgment and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with salon team members, peers, supervisors, and guests.
Ability to train and develop a team, provide guidance on business and technical competency, and keep the salon’s bottom line in mind.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
Availability to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, possibly including overnight travel.
