About The Position
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is hiring a full-time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) for its Fine Wine & Good Spirits store based at store #0271 in Munhall. This is an itinerant role that requires travel to other stores in the designated district as needed. The position provides shift leadership and supports daily operations across multiple locations, including guiding clerks, helping customers, and maintaining an organized store environment. The work schedule varies and totals 75 hours biweekly. Telework is not available. Free, secure onsite parking is provided. Applicants must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements, be able to perform the essential job functions, and pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the prior ten years is not permitted to work for the PLCB; other criminal convictions are reviewed case by case.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or six months of retail sales work.
- Meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Be able to perform the essential job functions.
- Pass a background investigation.
Responsibilities
- Guide store staff and support smooth operations throughout each shift.
- Assist shoppers and promote a positive customer experience.
- Stock and organize merchandise and handle sales transactions.
- Provide direction and on-the-job instruction to less experienced clerks.
- Complete shift reports and assist with inventory and cash-related records.
- Travel as needed to other stores in the designated district.
