About The Position
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is hiring a full-time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) for its Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Upper Darby. This customer-focused retail position guides clerks during assigned shifts and supports daily store operations, customer service, sales, and inventory activities. The position is onsite, with no telework option. Work hours vary and total 75 hours biweekly. Free secure onsite parking is available.
Requirements
- At least six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or six months of retail sales work.
- Meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Be able to perform the essential job functions.
- Pass a background investigation. Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not permitted to work for the PLCB; other criminal convictions are reviewed case by case.
Responsibilities
- Guide clerks during assigned shifts and support smooth store operations.
- Assist shoppers, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive customer environment.
- Ring up orders and manage cash register transactions.
- Unload shipments, fill shelves, and maintain organized displays.
- Coach less experienced clerks on procedures and store policies.
