About The Position
The Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) supports operations at a Fine Wine & Good Spirits store by guiding clerks and helping maintain a positive shopping environment. The position helps ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on time. Duties include leading clerks during shifts, assisting shoppers and resolving product or service concerns, processing sales, handling and displaying stock, supporting clerk training, and preparing shift reports and addressing cash or inventory issues. This is a full-time, onsite retail position at the Ambler store. Work hours vary and total 75 hours biweekly. Telework is not available. Free secure onsite parking is provided. The minimum experience requirement is six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or six months of retail sales work. Applicants must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements, be able to perform essential job functions, and pass a background investigation.
Requirements
- Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or six months of retail sales work.
- Meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Be able to perform the essential job functions.
- Pass a background investigation. A felony conviction within the ten years preceding the prospective employment date precludes employment with the PLCB; other criminal convictions are reviewed case by case.
Responsibilities
- Guide clerks and support smooth store operations during shifts.
- Assist shoppers and help resolve product or service concerns.
- Operate the cash register and manage sales transactions.
- Unload shipments, place products on shelves, and assemble displays.
- Show less experienced clerks how to follow store procedures and policies.
- Prepare shift reports and address cash or inventory issues.
- Help ensure tasks are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
