About The Position

Sleep Number is seeking a Sales Representative to help customers find products that meet their sleep needs and support the company’s purpose of improving lives by personalizing sleep. The role offers an opportunity to grow a retail sales career, with uncapped commission and bonus potential. Representatives deliver personalized customer experiences, build relationships that generate repeat and new business, and help maintain an exceptional showroom and store experience. Team members participate in sales training and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• Goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Energetic and proactive approach in a customer-focused environment.
• Collaborative team-player attitude and openness to feedback and coaching.
• Tech-savvy and an early adopter.

Responsibilities

• Discover customers’ sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions clearly, deliver personalized customer experiences, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Work with the team to maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching.
