About The Position

Sleep Number is seeking a Sales Representative to help customers find personalized sleep solutions. The role contributes to the company’s purpose of improving lives by personalizing sleep and offers an opportunity to grow a retail sales career with uncapped commission and bonus potential. Sales Representatives deliver personalized customer experiences, build customer relationships, support the showroom experience, and participate in training and coaching.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
Goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and motivation to exceed individual and team sales goals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.
Energetic and proactive approach in a customer-focused environment; willingness to welcome feedback and coaching.
Tech-savvy and an early adopter.

Responsibilities

Discover customers’ sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
Explain product benefits and current promotions clearly, provide personalized customer experiences, and work to exceed sales goals.
Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
Help maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
Participate in sales practice training and coaching to improve sales skills.

Base rate of $16 per hour, uncapped commission, and bonus potential; most team members earn $47,000–$58,000 annually, with actual earnings varying and not guaranteed.
