Sales Rep - Greater Lynchburg Area
About The Position
The Sales Representative is responsible for the successful sale and distribution of all Specialty Beverage products throughout an assigned territory covering Lynchburg, Virginia, and the surrounding area. The role includes developing new business at current no-buy accounts, cultivating customer relationships, and carrying out sales, distribution, placement, merchandising, and promotional activities. Total compensation, including base salary and bonuses, is stated as $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. Candidates considered for the role will undergo a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical exam.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the company.
- Ensure products are rotated and the code policy is followed.
- Sell, distribute, and secure placement of all Specialty products.
- Merchandise accounts appropriately using legal paper point-of-sale materials.
- Conduct promotions in accounts regularly or as required.
- Develop new accounts and new product placements.
- Organize and execute draught promotions and features using effective point-of-sale materials.
- Respond to customer inquiries about product information, service needs, delivery, and other matters.
- Execute monthly goals related to business activities.
- Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
