Requirements
- Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be organized with good time management skills.
- Possesses proven analytical/problem solving skills for the customer and company.
- Computer proficiency.
- Previous sales experience in the trucking industry.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Possesses strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate sales.
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with existing clients.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of used trucks and pricing.
- Review inventory daily.
- Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Conduct prospecting activities to secure appointments with decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
- Draft sales agreements to facilitate timely transactions.
- Check the credit of potential customers.
- Introduce customers to the financing department.
- Stay current on market behavior and competitive trends.
- Generate all necessary documents related to credit approval.
- Ensure trucks are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers.
