Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in the trucking industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.

  • Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate sales while cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships with existing clients.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of used trucks, pricing and reviewing inventory daily.
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct prospecting activities to secure appointments with decision-makers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Draft sales agreements to facilitate timely transactions.
  • Check the credit of potential customers.
  • Introduce customers to our financing department.
  • Stay current on market behavior and competitive trends.
  • Generate all necessary documents related to credit approval.
  • Ensure that trucks are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of used trucks and pricing.
  • Reviews inventory on a daily basis.
  • Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business.
  • Meets or exceeds new business sales goals.
  • Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers.
  • Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers.
  • Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner.
  • Checks credit of potential customers.
  • Introduces customers and prospective customers to VVG financing department.
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly.
  • Provides and generates all documents related to credit approval.
  • Ensures trucks are ready, repaired, clean and presentable for purchasing customer.
