About The Position

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join their Remarketing team. This role is primarily responsible for prospecting and generating sales while cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of used trucks, pricing, and reviewing inventory daily. Duties also include identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new business to meet or exceed sales goals. The Remarketing Sales Representative will conduct prospecting activities to secure appointments with decision-makers, prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations, and draft sales agreements to facilitate timely transactions. Additionally, the role involves checking the credit of potential customers, introducing them to our financing department, and staying current on market behavior and competitive trends. The candidate will also generate all necessary documents related to credit approval and ensure that trucks are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers. Requirements

  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner

  • Possesses proven analytical/problem solving skills for the customer and company
  • Computer proficiency
  • Previous sales experience in the trucking industry
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Possesses strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of used trucks and pricing
  • Reviews inventory on a daily basis
  • Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business
  • Meets or exceeds new business sales goals
  • Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers
  • Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers
  • Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
  • Checks credit of potential customers
  • Introduces customers and prospective customers to VVG financing department
  • Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
  • Provides and generates all documents related to credit approval
  • Ensures trucks are ready, repaired, clean and presentable for purchasing customer
