About The Position

Mayesh Wholesale Florist is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to develop new business, grow existing accounts, and provide exceptional service to floral customers. The role manages the sales cycle, including prospecting, order processing, follow-up, and account development. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with flexibility to support occasional Saturday rotations and changing business needs. The position is primarily based in a warehouse and customer service environment, with regular exposure to floral coolers between 32°F and 45°F. Work may involve extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting, and frequent bending, pushing, and pulling. Occasional use of pallet jacks, carts, knives, cutters, and standard office equipment may be required. Requirements

Previous sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.
Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify sales opportunities, manage multiple accounts, and follow through consistently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, or crouch as needed.
Dependable, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to support occasional Saturday rotations and changing business needs.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new customers, generate leads, and expand existing accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Develop sales proposals, negotiate opportunities, and work toward sales goals.
Participate in customer outreach, promotions, and sales events.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
Process customer orders accurately and provide timely follow-up.
Maintain current customer and prospect information in company systems.
Resolve customer concerns and recommend solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Communicate product availability, pricing, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Coordinate with internal teams to address product quality, delivery, and logistics needs.
Stay informed about floral products, seasonal trends, and company programs.
Share customer feedback and market insights with Sales, Buying, and Operations teams.
Support sales materials, promotional activities, and other business initiatives.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
