About The Position

The Sales Representative maximizes sales of Georgia Lottery products by contacting established and prospective retailers. The role supports retailer training, player education, sales promotions, and lottery operations across an assigned retailer territory. It also involves maintaining accurate communication records and delivering or collecting lottery materials and tickets. The position may require evening and weekend work.

Requirements

Three or more years of sales promotion and merchandising experience.
Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Valid Georgia driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Some evening and weekend work is required.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities are acceptable.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Train retailers on lottery products, equipment, and services.
Educate players about brand recognition and interactive programs.
Visit assigned retailers on a consistent cycle determined by Sales Management.
Ensure compliance with GLC Sales Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
Identify, contact, and recruit quality retailers.
Develop and implement promotional activities at the retail level.
Participate in and assist with special events, promotions, and lottery sales.
Maintain complete and accurate records of retailer communications in SFA (OnePlace).
Deliver point-of-sale materials, supplies, and other items as directed by Sales Management.
Deliver and pick up instant tickets as directed by Sales Management.
