About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate profitable business from the equipment offered by their profit center. The role focuses on developing an assigned territory, implementing sales plans to grow business, maintaining the existing customer base, and helping build the Sunbelt brand. The position offers the opportunity to use cold-calling and closing skills in a high-demand market and to develop toward sales or operational management.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree in a related field and at least one year of related experience, or three to four years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors or outdoors when required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ground protection, construction, or specialty industrial equipment.
• Spanish bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations.
