Sales Operations Business Partner, Commercial

Everpure•Chicago, IL
•Onsite

About The Position

The Sales Operations Business Partner supports a designated group of districts in the AMER Enterprise or Commercial segment, handling day-to-day operational work so District Managers can focus more on coaching and deal execution. The role partners closely with District Managers and coordinates with teams including Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Channel, Marketing, and Sales Engineering to streamline workflows, maintain data integrity, and manage operational requests. Forecast ownership, team leadership, deal strategy, AE coaching, and executive customer relationships remain with the District Manager. The position works alongside Regional Sales Operations, which owns region-wide consistency, governance, and leadership reporting. The Business Partner’s remit is narrower and focused on the operational needs of assigned districts. The role requires analytical ability, business partnering, and strong communication, and may provide a path toward Sales Operations Manager and Senior Sales Operations Manager positions. The role is office-centric in Chicago, with an expectation to work in the office five days per week.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, or another analytical, business-facing role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • High familiarity with using AI to build dashboards, synthesize data, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple open requests.
  • Experience acting as a business partner, rather than solely as a reporting resource.
  • Ability to hold sales teams accountable to process while building trust.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize data simply for busy sales leaders.
  • Curiosity about how sales teams work and interest in developing a career in Sales Operations.
  • Ability to work in the Chicago office five days per week.
