About The Position

Trinity Industries is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support its Commercial team at its Dallas, Texas location. The role supports the sales team through CRM and data management, performance reporting and dashboards, and sales process improvement. The analyst works through the Sales Operations organization and supports commercial, executive, and other sales support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Economics, Finance, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Interest in sales process improvement.
• Data analysis and data visualization skills, such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.
• Related internship or early-career experience.
• Ability to code in SQL, Python, or R.
• Ability to leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Salesforce or other CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject-matter resource for Salesforce CRM, supporting account data quality and helping the sales team use the system effectively.
• Build and maintain sales performance dashboards and recurring reports, including quarterly forecast-versus-actuals reporting.
• Translate commercial requests into actionable insights and business-rule recommendations using analytics and AI tools.
• Maintain recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly data sets and support sales performance and award metrics.
• Identify and support sales process improvement initiatives, partnering with sales, IT, and other teams to streamline workflows and reduce cycle times.
• Assist with other sales operations-related tasks.
