About the position
PAX is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join their Commercial Planning & Sales Operations team. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to analyze and create sales reports, drive revenue, and improve GTM effectiveness. They will be responsible for driving clarity, visibility, and prioritization of revenue objectives, as well as supporting operational excellence and building relationships with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales enablement, data analysis, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive clarity, visibility, and prioritization of revenue objectives and strategies through rigorous analysis and structuring the decision-making process
- Build sales tools to drive and expand revenue
- Develop, maintain, and distribute KPI/revenue dashboards and reports
- Define performance metrics and think critically about potential pivots based on results
- Derive meaningful, actionable insights and specific recommendations from complex internal and external data sets to improve GTM effectiveness
- Build business cases for initiatives and resource requests
- Manage external vendors (including syndicated data providers)
- Own market trends and insights; proactively identify headwinds/tailwinds and provide strategic recommendations to combat/maximize
- Support operational excellence through spreading best practices and tools
- Create useful playbooks for reps and managers
- Develop strong pitches and collateral
- Implement robust training programs
- Utilize effective CRM dashboards/analysis and influence adoption
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Simplify processes and optimize available tools
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure short-term and long-term alignment
- Provide cohesive actionable feedback on Product Roadmap and ensure cross-functional alignment and GTM preparation
- Act as the voice of the frontline GTM team
- Prioritize areas for investment and focus
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, business operations, consulting, business development, finance, or strategy
- Comfort with, and ability to operate at an aggressive, accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment
- Extensive experience with data modeling and data analysis
- Excellent communication, project and time management, writing and presentation skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior management
- CPG experience preferred
