About the position
We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our team at PAX. In this role, you will be responsible for driving lead and order generation, as well as building new relationships and understanding market dynamics. You will play a crucial part in increasing market penetration and generating interest in our product portfolio. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and sales skills, be adaptable and prioritize tasks effectively. Retail or customer service experience is preferred, and familiarity with the cannabis industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive lead and order generation for your book of business
- Deliver value by forging new relationships and understanding market dynamics and demand
- Handle all tactical requirements for new account onboarding including facilitating dispensary support and order fulfillment, handling account creation in systems of record, providing accounts reconciliation support, ensuring compliance documentation is up to date, onboarding/training customers, and uploading new accounts to SFDC/SOR
- Execute upon inside sales account gameplans
- Monitor and track activity and report on performance to the Inside Sales Team Lead and Regional Market Director(s)
- Evaluate PAX online dispensary menu presence and identify opportunities to enhance placement, product descriptions, and imagery
Requirements
- Excellent communication (verbal, written) and presentation skills
- Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
- Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfort with, and ability to operate at an aggressive, accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment
- Skilled in relationship building
- Excellent time-management skills
- 2+ years of experience in retail, telemarketing, customer service, or lead generation role
- Bachelors degree is a plus
- State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
- CPG experience preferred; familiarity with cannabis or another highly regulated, fragmented industry a plus
- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
