About The Position

The Sales Manager generates leads and manages group sales for small- and medium-size group markets, helping deliver memorable guest experiences. The role develops business and client relationships, creates targeted sales strategies, oversees the sales process from prospecting through contracting, manages booking details, and supervises and supports team members.

Responsibilities

• Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead-generation goals.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, nurture existing accounts, and develop new accounts to grow room revenue and profitability.
• Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals.
• Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue.
• Coordinate customer requirements for rooms, food and beverage, and meeting space, and enter account and reservation information accurately and on time in the hotel's sales management system.
• Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
