Sales Manager, USA West Coast
About The Position
X Shore is hiring a Sales Manager to develop boat sales and dealer coverage across the US West Coast, from San Diego to Seattle. The role is remote and may be based in California, the Pacific Northwest, or Lake Tahoe, with regular travel throughout the territory. The successful candidate will convert existing interest from boat clubs and marina partners into stocking dealers and customer deposits. X Shore builds electric boats in Nyköping, Sweden, and is growing its dealer network in 2027. The role offers a base salary plus uncapped commission on every boat sold, with travel and mileage reimbursed. The product is priced at USD 169,000, and a US importer is already in place. The start date is by February 1, 2027.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience selling boats or marine products to US dealers.
- Established relationships with dealer principals.
- Be honest about what electric boats can and cannot yet do well.
- Be comfortable with a compensation package tied to sales.
- Be authorized to work in the US.
Responsibilities
- Sign stocking dealers in Southern California, the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, and Puget Sound.
- Run sea trials and represent the company at shows, starting with Seattle and Southern California shows in early 2027.
- Open boat-club, marina, and resort accounts alongside dealers.
- Support the company's application to California's CORE voucher program for commercial buyers.
- Report the sales pipeline weekly, including leads, sea trials, offers, and deposits.
