About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Sales Inspector to help homeowners protect their homes through inspections and recommendations for pest control and related services. The role combines customer-facing sales with full-home inspections, including attics and crawl spaces. Sales Inspectors explain inspection findings, recommend treatment options, and present the value and long-term benefits of Orkin services. Orkin provides training, a company vehicle and gas card, a company iPad, and uncapped commission potential. No pest control experience is required.

Requirements

• Experience in sales, account management, home inspection, or project management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and similar areas.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Comfort with climbing, crawling, and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-home inspections, from the attic to the crawl space.
• Explain findings clearly and recommend appropriate treatment options.
• Close sales by demonstrating the value, protection, and long-term benefits of Orkin’s services.
• Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using a company-provided iPad.
• Work independently, prioritize schedules, and maximize leads and self-generated opportunities.
• Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
