About The Position

The Target Sales Insights Manager understands each client’s business to identify business needs and create appropriate data solutions. The role executes complex projects, casts vision, and forecasts. It provides retail context at the category, retailer, and industry levels to supplement insights and broaden clients’ understanding of key sales drivers and business risks. This position must be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Harvest Group does not cover relocation for applicants who do not currently reside in the area.

Requirements

2–4 years of hands-on consumer packaged goods experience working on a Target account.
Experience synthesizing raw data from POS and syndicated databases such as Circana or Nielsen to develop actionable insights.
Strong analytical skills, including collecting, organizing, analyzing, and accurately disseminating large datasets.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to tell insightful stories through data visualizations.
Experience proactively and creatively solving problems both independently and as a team player.
Curiosity about retail and the constantly changing marketplace.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
A proven ownership mindset.
Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Must be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota; relocation is not covered.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software.
Prior forecasting experience.
