About The Position

The Enterprise Sales Executive, Healthcare Strategy, Data & Analytics is a consulting-led commercial role responsible for expanding Alight’s healthcare data and intelligence business with large employers. The executive draws on experience in employer health and benefits consulting to diagnose client challenges, interpret healthcare and benefits data, develop strategic recommendations, and connect Alight’s capabilities to measurable business and workforce outcomes. The role leads new-logo pursuits, expands existing client relationships, and builds influence with benefits consultants, brokers, and other ecosystem partners. It requires credibility in consulting conversations, the ability to challenge clients’ current approaches, and skill in developing executive-level business cases grounded in cost, experience, outcomes, and value. The executive leads complex pursuits from discovery through solution design, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution, working across Alight teams and bringing market insights back to Product and leadership. This is a virtual role. Travel may be required for client meetings, consultant engagement, conferences, and strategic pursuits, and occasional travel to a physical office may be required. Alight requires virtual interviews to be conducted on video. Compensation is listed at $175,000–$185,000 USD; bonus and/or incentive eligibility depends on role and level. Employment offers are contingent on successful completion of applicable background checks, and applicants must have work authorization in the employing country that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, employer health and benefits strategy, healthcare analytics, or a closely related advisory field; commercial or business-development accountability is strongly preferred.
  • Experience advising large and complex employers, preferably organizations with 10,000+ employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze employer healthcare challenges and turn insights into strategic recommendations, solution designs, and measurable business cases.
  • Depth in several of these areas: healthcare claims analytics, pharmacy, carrier strategy, population health, navigation, point-solution optimization, benefits administration, data warehousing, employer reporting, or healthcare cost management.
  • Executive presence and ability to engage CHROs, CFOs, Benefits and Total Rewards leaders, consultants, and other senior healthcare decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements and influence decisions without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical and analytical concepts into a compelling commercial narrative.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, consultant engagement, conferences, and strategic pursuits.
  • Applicants must have work authorization in the employing country that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of applicable background checks is a condition of an employment offer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating within or alongside firms such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, Gallagher, Lockton, Segal, or comparable healthcare and benefits advisory organizations is highly valued.
  • Background as a senior healthcare or benefits consultant with understanding of how employers evaluate strategy, vendors, data, and outcomes.
  • Ability to create demand through insight and credibility rather than simply respond to established opportunities.
  • Ability to connect healthcare data, product capabilities, and client priorities in language that resonates with executive buyers.
  • Collaborative approach to strengthening Alight’s point of view and helping commercial teams tell a differentiated, outcome-based story.

Responsibilities

  • Lead consultative discovery with Benefits, Total Rewards, HR, Finance, and Health & Welfare leaders to identify challenges involving cost, experience, outcomes, and ecosystem performance.

  • Translate complex client needs into outcome-based solution strategies that connect Alight’s healthcare data and analytics capabilities with the broader benefits ecosystem.
  • Develop executive-level business cases, value hypotheses, and ROI narratives to support investment decisions.
  • Originate and advance new-logo and installed-base opportunities with Fortune 500 and other large employers.
