About The Position

The Sales Executive - Commercial Auto is responsible for driving profitable growth within the assigned Phoenix territory. The role influences independent agents to sell Kemper Commercial Auto and executes the company’s sales strategy while supporting initiatives that promote long-term profitable growth. The position is remote, but applicants must reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area because of frequent local travel.

Requirements

At least 3 years of sales experience.
Bachelor's degree.
Working knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
Effective communication skills and ability to speak publicly.
Flexibility and a highly motivated, self-starting approach.
Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment, and interpret report data using spreadsheets.
Strong time-management skills.
Critical-thinking skills and ability to solve problems logically.
Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and develop action plans based on insights.
Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Must reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area due to frequent local travel.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of commercial insurance experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.
Bilingual English/Spanish.

Manage and develop a territory of independent agents.
Provide agents with an outstanding experience through consultative selling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents at all levels within their agencies.
Drive new business growth, business mix, retention, and profitability within the assigned territory.
Stay current on product and pricing trends to drive intended outcomes.
Participate in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
Assist in the implementation of new production launches.
