About The Position

MyDefence is seeking a technically minded, relationship-driven Sales Engineer to work closely with U.S. Army customers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The customer-facing role combines technical expertise, relationship building, and commercial development to support the company's expansion in the U.S. defense market. The Sales Engineer will serve as a technical and commercial partner to military customers, working closely with the Commercial Director to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and support the sales process. The role involves understanding customer missions and requirements, demonstrating MyDefence counter-UAS solutions, and connecting operational needs with practical technical solutions in collaboration with internal engineering and product teams. The position is based on-site at Fort Bragg, with relocation considered, and requires travel to military installations, demonstrations, and customer events as needed. The start date is as soon as possible. MyDefence offers an innovative work atmosphere, opportunities for personal and professional development, autonomy, direct customer impact, and the opportunity to contribute to the company's growing U.S. presence.

Requirements

  • Prior U.S. military experience, ideally with the 82nd Airborne Division, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), or similar operational units.
  • Previous experience serving or working at Fort Bragg, with an established network and strong relationships within the military community.
  • Reside within commuting distance of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Practical experience or strong technical knowledge in electronic warfare (EW), RF systems, tactical communications, or related technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust and develop long-term relationships.
  • A commercial mindset and interest in identifying opportunities, supporting sales activities, and contributing to business growth.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to military operators and decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel to military installations, demonstrations, and customer events as needed.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in technical sales, field applications, or C-UAS technologies.
  • A relevant engineering degree. These qualifications are preferred but not required; relevant military experience, technical understanding, and an established network are considered more important than formal commercial sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key U.S. Army customers and establish a consistent presence at Fort Bragg.
  • Develop an understanding of customer missions, operational challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Work with the Commercial Director to identify sales opportunities and support customer engagements through closing.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical briefings, and hands-on evaluations of MyDefence C-UAS solutions.
  • Translate operational requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with internal engineering and product teams.
  • Support military exercises, field demonstrations, and customer events at Fort Bragg and other military installations.
  • Provide customers with technical guidance, product training, and follow-up support.
  • Identify opportunities to expand MyDefence's presence within existing military networks and across relevant units and commands.
  • Maintain knowledge of MyDefence's product portfolio and developments in electronic warfare, RF technology, and counter-UAS systems.

Benefits

  • Opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Autonomy and direct influence on MyDefence's relationships and growth within the U.S. Army.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding U.S. presence with a global footprint.
  • Innovative work atmosphere.
