Sales Enablement Operations Manager

Perplexity•San Francisco, CA
•$165,000 - $210,000

About The Position

Perplexity is hiring its first Sales Enablement Operations Manager to help its growing sales organization find, use and learn from content. This strategic and hands-on role partners with the Sales Enablement Lead to define and implement the sales content management strategy, including evaluating whether to use Perplexity’s AI platform or a dedicated third-party tool. The role will build, operate and continuously improve the enablement stack, and create AI skills, plugins and workflows that help sellers and managers work more effectively. It is a foundational position with a path to leadership as the enablement function scales. The manager will develop content architecture and governance, own implementation and maintenance of the sales content hub, call library and training platform, and coordinate with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Product and Legal to make approved content available within sellers’ workflows. The role will also own enablement reporting and build reusable AI workflows for account executives, BDRs and sales managers, supporting adoption through training, documentation and feedback. Success includes establishing scalable standards for enablement content and AI tools and helping shape the function’s priorities, operating model and tooling.

  • Design, build and maintain AI skills, plugins and agent workflows for account executives, BDRs and sales managers, including account research, call preparation, deal reviews, coaching and pipeline hygiene.
  • Convert recurring seller and manager tasks into reusable AI workflows and drive adoption through training, documentation and feedback loops.
  • Develop training materials on effective AI tool use and maintain a shared library of best practices.
