About the position
The Sales Enablement Data Analyst role at Outset is responsible for collecting, reviewing, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting sales, marketing, and sales compensation data. This role requires strong attention to detail and thoroughness. The analyst will collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and People Operations, to support the Sales organization and provide actionable insights and information to team members and management. The role also involves data extraction and analysis, report preparation, and presentation development and delivery. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, or Finance, along with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles, is required.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends
- Communicate with management team regularly
- Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity
- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources
- Evaluate and integrate third-party data to bolster analytics solutions
- Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
- Gather and analyze data to understand problems and address them proactively
- Collaborate with team members and build partnerships across the organization
- Compensation data extraction and analysis monthly
- Data ownership, analysis, and interpretation in Excel, AWS QuickSight, and other analytics tools
- Commission plan maintenance
- Presentation development and delivery (PowerPoint skills a must)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in similar roles
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
- Proficiency in Excel, AWS QuickSight, and other analytics tools
