About The Position

CareSwift uses AI to automate ambulance reports, aiming to eliminate the 30% of a paramedic's shift currently spent on paperwork. As a Y Combinator-backed startup (S25) based in New York City, we are experiencing rapid growth. This role involves communicating our story and value proposition to EMS agencies nationwide. The founding team includes Brian, a former EMT who founded CareSwift to address the time-consuming nature of paramedic paperwork. We are a small, cohesive founding team that operates with speed and a deep commitment to the EMS community.

Requirements

  • Experience working in or around emergency medical services (as a provider, dispatcher, administrator, or vendor selling into EMS).
  • Understanding of EMS language, pain points, and key personnel.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and engaging leads.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, listen effectively, and conduct genuine conversations with EMS leadership.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong motivation for ownership in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Organized and persistent in follow-up without being intrusive.
  • Proficiency in maintaining a clean CRM and managing a pipeline.
  • Hustle and EMS knowledge are highly valued, potentially more than a polished resume.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience (formal SDR/BDR role, medical equipment sales, or any B2B sales background).

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential EMS agencies, ambulance services, and fire departments that would benefit from CareSwift.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Craft and execute outbound campaigns (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage decision-makers.
  • Conduct conversations to understand prospect pain points, current workflows, and suitability for CareSwift.
  • Schedule product demos for qualified prospects with Brian.
  • Track the effectiveness of outreach methods and contribute to building a repeatable, scalable outbound sales engine.
  • Share prospect feedback with the team to inform product and messaging strategies.
