About The Position

Stimulus Technologies, with over 30 years of experience serving Nevada businesses with managed IT, cybersecurity, VoIP phone systems, and high-speed internet, is building its first dedicated sales team. This is an opportunity to be part of a company from the ground up. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be the first point of contact for prospects, responsible for identifying suitable businesses, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified discovery calls for Account Executives. The role emphasizes active listening, adaptability, and strategic communication over scripted delivery. This is an outbound position where the SDR will build their own pipeline and be evaluated based on the quality of meetings booked, not solely on the volume of calls made.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of outbound sales, SDR, or appointment-setting experience. Technology or professional services experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and viewing rejection as information rather than failure.
  • Clear written communication skills, demonstrated through relevant and non-generic emails.
  • Tech-comfortable with required CRM experience.
  • Coachable, able to take feedback and apply it immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Research and build targeted prospect lists using Apollo.io, Seamless.ai, and LinkedIn, focusing on SMBs in Nevada, California (Long Beach), and Missouri (Jefferson City).
  • Execute structured outbound sequences via phone, personalized email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify prospects thoroughly before booking meetings, prioritizing quality over quantity.
  • Book and confirm discovery calls for Account Executives, aiming for ten qualified meetings per week upon full ramp.
  • Directly book meetings into the AE calendar using the provided scheduling link while the prospect is on the phone.
  • Log all activities in the CRM on the same day, maintaining clean data.
  • Collaborate with marketing on webinar follow-up, campaign leads, and inbound form fills.
