Sales Development Representative Intern – Nashville
About The Position
The Echo Trailblazers internship provides confidence, community, and communication skills to forge a new path in the dynamic world of transportation. As a member of the Echo Global Logistics team, interns will work on real-world projects, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to simplifying transportation for clients and carriers. This internship offers a comprehensive learning experience in the logistics industry and the sales process, fostering a passionate and driven sales force in the 3PL space. Interns will learn to prospect, identify customer needs, present solutions, negotiate, and manage opportunities through the sales funnel, utilizing sales tools and AI for efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be able to start May 24th, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program
- Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
- Able to work in our Nashville office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week
- No major or GPA requirements

Responsibilities
- Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound phone calls
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and position Echo’s logistics solutions
- Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business
- Manage opportunities through the sales funnel and maintain strong pipeline discipline
- Set customers up for success through clear expectations and a smooth handoff after close
- Use Echo’s sales tools and technology along with AI tools to drive efficiency and results
