About The Position
Nextep is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to build relationships with business owners and leaders and present professional employer organization (PEO) solutions. The role involves understanding client needs, guiding prospects through the sales process, and closing sales. Representatives work with internal teams to qualify prospects and manage their sales pipeline using CRM tools. They also stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and changes in the PEO market. Nextep provides HR services to small and midsized companies, including payroll, benefits, human resources, and risk and compliance services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field.
- Aptitude for building relationships.
- Strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities
- Research client needs and present tailored PEO solutions.
- Close sales deals.
- Make sales calls and move prospects through the sales process.
- Deliver IPs and proposals.
- Work with internal teams to qualify prospects.
- Manage the sales pipeline and track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and changes in the PEO market.
- Build relationships with business owners and leaders.
