About The Position

As a Sales Development Representative, you are responsible for generating qualified pipeline through structured outbound engagement. You are the first commercial touchpoint and play a key role in identifying real business risk, qualifying opportunities, and positioning Wire effectively.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience as SDR, outbound sales, or high-activity customer-facing roles
  • Proven track record of hitting activity and meeting targets
  • Strong cold outreach experience (especially phone)
  • Experience with multi-channel prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English and German

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, compliance, or IT-related topics
  • Experience selling into regulated industries (e.g. public sector, finance, legal, or critical infrastructure)
  • Familiarity with sales qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC, BANT, or similar

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting across target accounts
  • Run structured multi-channel sequences (calls, email, LinkedIn) with persistence
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives with clear context and next steps
  • Engage senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, Head of IT) on topics like security, compliance, and sovereignty
  • Identify and validate key use cases (e.g. GDPR, crisis communication, shadow IT replacement)
  • Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) and track activities and outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and lead follow-up
  • Continuously refine outreach based on performance and feedback
