About the position
We are seeking dynamic and hardworking individuals to join our expanding inside sales team at Classy. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for cold calling nonprofit organizations and generating qualified leads for our Account Executive team. Success in this role is achieved by exceeding monthly goals, maintaining daily metrics, and thriving in a team-focused environment. The ultimate goal is to transition into a full cycle sales role as an Account Executive. We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication skills, a drive to succeed, and a passion for learning.
Responsibilities
- Making 80-120 cold calls a day to non-profit organizations
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce
- Consistently surpassing monthly quotas through hard work and implementing feedback
- Thriving on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
- Becoming an expert in online fundraising - asking insightful questions, overcoming objections, and understanding client's needs
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills and dynamic telephone presence
- Maintaining a positive attitude and a drive to win
- Being technically savvy
- Having 1+ years of inside sales or relevant experience (selling over the phone/web preferred)
- Being previously trained in consultative/value-based selling
- Having experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Holding a Bachelor's Degree
