Business Development Representative

The job overview for this role is that Classy is hiring Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to support their push upmarket. BDRs will be responsible for conducting strategic outreach to decision makers of nonprofit organizations, generating pipeline, and facilitating qualifying calls. They will work closely with Account Executives to target accounts and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline goals. The role offers an opportunity for professional growth and development of full cycle sales skills. • Conduct strategic outreach to decision makers of nonprofit organizations
• Follow up and champion business relationships
• Penetrate multiple departments within organizations to generate pipeline
• Facilitate qualifying calls and conduct discovery with high-level decision makers
• Complete a seamless handoff of qualified prospects to the Account Executive team
• Work closely with Account Executives to target accounts strategically
• Exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline goals
• Handle pressure in a team-focused environment
• Obtain a minimum of 50 outreach activities a day to non-profit organizations
• Use strategy and creativity to reach key decision makers
• Document and track all activities in Salesforce
• Become an expert in online fundraising
• Ask insightful questions, overcome objections, and understand client's needs
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 1+ years of inside sales or relevant experience preferred
• Outbound prospecting experience required
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written skills
• Ability to navigate through organizations to reach decision makers
• Growth mindset and ability to adapt in a changing environment
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Positive attitude and drive to win

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of inside sales or relevant experience (selling over the phone/web preferred)
• Outbound prospecting experience
• Excellent listening, verbal and written skills
• No fear of the phones!
• Experience navigating through organizations to reach decision makers
