About the position
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team at Branch. In this role, you will work closely with our account executives to execute outbound B2B sales strategies and generate qualified leads. Your responsibilities will include conducting outbound campaigns, scheduling demos, and maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a competitive and collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role with on-site time in our Tampa office expected each week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound campaigns and generate qualified leads
- Perform A/B testing to provide insights into overall campaign success and conversion
- Schedule demos for the sales team with qualified leads
- Maintain a complete, accurate, and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast
- Keep management informed through activity reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans, to achieve monthly goals
- Meet and exceed monthly targets and quotas for opportunity generation
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by identifying client needs and staying current with industry trends
- Develop strong relationships with key accounts
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to simplify topics and effectively communicate with others
- Startup mentality: self-starter, proactive, and flexible
- Willingness to learn core technology
- Ability to conduct outbound campaigns and generate qualified leads
- Experience with A/B testing to provide insights on campaign success and conversion
- Ability to schedule demos for the sales team with qualified leads
- Proficiency in maintaining a complete, accurate, and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast
- Ability to meet and exceed monthly targets and quotas for opportunity generation
- Knowledge of industry trends and ability to recommend changes in products, service, and policy based on client needs
- Strong relationship-building skills with key accounts
