Your Mission: As the Sales Development Manager at Propeller, you’ll build, lead, and develop a high-performing SDR team that drives new business pipeline. You’ll set clear goals and operating rhythms, coach the team on outbound and inbound lead engagement, and create a results-driven culture where people can grow into high-impact sales talent.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or sales development, with 1–2+ years in a management or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of sales development methodologies, pipeline management, and inbound/outbound workflows.
  • Experience working with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) and sales engagement/data tools.
  • Data-oriented approach and a habit of improving systems through testing and iteration. Proof of AI-forward operations on prior sales / SDR teams.
  • Collaborative leadership style — willing to lead by example and work alongside the team to hit goals.
  • Willingness to learn Propeller’s technical products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of Sales Development Representatives, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
  • Coach SDRs on prospecting best practices, qualification strategies, objection handling, and effective multi-channel outbound communication.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, learning, and momentum — making expectations and success metrics clear.
  • Partner with Sales and RevOps to align on KPIs, target accounts, territory coverage, and feedback loops with AEs.
  • Use CRM and performance data to identify trends, improve processes, and continuously strengthen team effectiveness.
  • Design and iterate on outbound strategies (sequences, messaging, call blocks) and be ready to jump in as an individual contributor when needed.
