About The Position
Closets by Design is hiring Sales Design Consultants to help residential customers address their home-organization needs. Consultants receive pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients, along with provided leads and marketing materials. The position includes complete sales and design training, so prior experience is not necessary, and offers the flexibility of working from home as part of a hybrid remote arrangement. Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. It designs, manufactures, and installs custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more. The company emphasizes serving others, being a problem solver, and trusting the process.
Requirements
- Coachable candidate.
- Growth mindset and willingness to complete 16-week paid sales training.
- Reliable transportation.
- No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Start the sales route with scheduled appointments using company-provided leads and marketing materials.
- Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
- Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
- Educate customers on the company’s products and services.
- Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help residential customers with home-organization needs.
