Sales Design Consultant
About The Position
Closets by Design is hiring designers/sales representatives to help residential customers organize their homes. The role involves attending pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients, assessing their home organization needs, and educating them about products and services. Leads and marketing materials are provided, and there is no cold calling. The position offers a hybrid remote arrangement, flexible scheduling, and work close to home. Complete paid sales training and ongoing mentorship are provided; previous sales experience is not necessary. Compensation is listed as $4,000–$6,000 per month. Closets by Design designs, manufactures, and installs custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and other home organizing systems.
Requirements
- Coachable candidate with a growth mindset.
- Willingness to complete 12 weeks of paid sales training.
- Reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Begin the sales route with pre-set appointments; leads and marketing materials are provided.
- Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
- Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
- Educate customers on products and services.
- Follow the sales training and use communication skills to help residential customers with home organizational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned or applicable.
