About The Position
Join Dunkin' as a morning-shift cashier, welcoming customers and helping create a positive start to their day. The role involves serving customers efficiently during busy morning periods, processing transactions and orders, preparing basic coffee and beverage orders, and maintaining clean and welcoming guest areas. No previous experience is required; the franchisee is looking for someone eager to learn and grow. This restaurant is independently owned and operated by a Dunkin' franchisee. If hired, the franchisee will be the employee's employer and is responsible for its own wage and benefit programs. Requirements
- Fluent in English with effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Able to use basic computer and POS system functions.
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and contribute to a positive guest experience.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions quickly and accurately.
- Learn the menu and assist customers with choices and questions.
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare basic coffee and beverage orders.
- Keep the front counter and dining area tidy and welcoming.
- Work collaboratively with the team, receive feedback, and arrive reliably and on time.
- Prioritize guests, respond to their needs, and resolve issues promptly and positively.
- Follow Dunkin' standards and systems to deliver quality service and products.
- Communicate current promotions and suggest menu items to customers.
- Follow operational policies for cash handling, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
