About The Position

HVMG is seeking an organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in driving revenue and providing client service. The role assists sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service, allowing them to focus on closing business. It involves responding to guest requests and performing general office duties and special projects as needed.

This is an entry-level opportunity to learn about sales, catering, customer service, and hotel operations, and may provide a foundation for career growth in sales. The role may suit someone who prefers to leave work behind at the end of a shift. The position may have a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or one year of hotel experience.
• Experience is not required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Warm, professional demeanor reflecting HVMG’s Culture of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales and catering managers and directors with clerical tasks and guest service.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform word processing, typing, emailing, data entry, filing, faxing, copying, and mail processing.
• Handle other general office duties and assist with special projects as needed.
