About The Position
Holman Toyota has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join their team and the Holman Family! This role oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork. The Sales Consultant will greet customers on the sales floor, perform a needs analysis including make, type, and features of the vehicle desired, and explain features/benefits and demonstrate the operation of the vehicle in the showroom or on the road. They will research availability of models and optional equipment using a computer database, work with Sales Managers and F&I to negotiate sales price and lease payment, and complete all paperwork. The role also involves arranging for detail and delivery of the vehicle, delivering and familiarizing the customer with the vehicle, and maximizing the customer experience. Additionally, the Sales Consultant will assist the Sales Manager with customer problems and attend/complete required training and department meetings.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
- Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities

- Works with Sales Managers and F&I and negotiates sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
- Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
- Completes all paperwork and arranges for detail and delivery of vehicle.
- Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.
- Maximizes the customer experience.
- Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
- Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
