About The Position

Sloane Toyota Philadelphia is seeking Sales Consultants with automotive sales experience or a proven track record in consultative selling. This is an opportunity for ambitious, customer-focused individuals to build on their successful careers in auto sales. Sloane Toyota Philadelphia is growing fast and needs driven Sales Professionals who thrive in a culture of teamwork, honesty, and excellence. This busy, well-established dealership located in Northeast Philadelphia offers a large, established customer base and supports sales associates in growing a successful book of business with a top brand and aggressive marketing strategy to keep them busy. Experience in auto sales is preferred, but strong communication and closing skills are essential. The dealership will provide training on the Toyota lineup.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous car sales is a plus
  • Self starter with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Dependable, solid work history, with references
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Must pass drug screen and background check

  • Automotive sales experience
  • Proven track record in consultative selling
  • Experience utilizing tools like CRM software and social media to connect with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or lot.
  • Build strong rapport with customers.
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
  • Explain product performance, safety, and benefits to prospects.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
  • Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.
