About The Position

Holman Toyota has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join their team and the Holman Family! This role oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork. The Sales Consultant greets customers on the sales floor, performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired, and explains features/benefits and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road. They research availability of models and optional equipment using a computer database, and work with Sales Managers and F&I to negotiate sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount/rebates. The role involves walking the lot and visually inspecting inventory, completing all paperwork, and arranging for detail and delivery of the vehicle. The Sales Consultant delivers and familiarizes the customer with the vehicle, maximizes the customer experience, and assists the Sales Manager with customer problems. They also attend/complete required training and department meetings.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
  • Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.
