About The Position

Holman Cadillac has an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join their team and the Holman Family! This role oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork. The Sales Consultant will greet customers on the sales floor and perform a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired. They will explain features/benefits and demonstrate the operation of the vehicle in the showroom or on the road. The role involves researching availability of models and optional equipment using a computer database, negotiating sales price and lease payment with Sales Managers and F&I, and completing all paperwork. The Sales Consultant will also arrange for detail and delivery of the vehicle, deliver and familiarize the customer with the vehicle, and maximize the customer experience. Additionally, they will assist the Sales Manager with customer problems and attend/complete required training and department meetings.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Negotiates sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
Completes all paperwork and arranges for detail and delivery of vehicle.
Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.
Maximizes the customer experience.
Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
